Every Thursday for 30 years a group of grandmothers holds a protest in May Day Park, asking for an investigation into the "Desaparecedos" -- their children who disappeared under the dictatorship and are presumed dead -- and of the grandchildren, many of whom were adopted by others in secrecy. It is very moving. Posted by Hello

When you get home I'll give you the name of a fantastic film that tells the story of a girl who finds out she was the daughter of revolutionaries and was stolen from her parents after they were put in jail (when she was very young). Incredibly moving and sad, especially given how the government still doesn't come clean, even today.
